We are a 3rd generation family agency. Our background is a unique story. Wm. H. Steinlage Sr. started our agency by taking over a "block of business" from a childhood friend who was drafted into WWII. Within a few years, Wm. Sr. opened The Steinlage Insurance Agency by focusing on the client as his number one priority. In 1974, William was joined by his son, Wm. H Jr, who took the agency to new heights by focusing on the Senior Health Market. Seeing a niche in Medicare related products, the agency became a leader by being one of the first truly independent agencies to focus on the Medicare eligible client. During his tenure, the agency made the leap from North County across the river to Lake Saint Louis in 2001. In 2006, Wm. Jr's 2 sons, Eric and Karl, joined him to take the agency into the future.
